Wood Heating Systems

SOLARvent  IQ are a specialist manufacturer of wood pellet boilers and burners from Germany.

The boiler burns wood pellets to generate heating and hot water for your home. The boiler is fully automatic and runs at an efficiency of up to 96% even in part load. The combustion of the wood pellets are monitored by an integral oxygen sensor which adjusts the amount of air and fuel entering  the burner for a complete and efficient combustion.

There is an integral wood pellet storage hopper attached to the boiler which holds around 162 kg of fuel . This amount of fuel would automatically heat up around 210 regular size baths or heat an average size 3 bed semi detached house during winter for around 16 days. The wood pellet fuel can be bought in small 15kg bags to be manually loaded in to the hopper or bulk blown into a wood pellet silo by a delivery truck for longer periods of operation.

The integral hopper has a sensor inside which senses when the fuel level is low and triggers a relay which automatically brings more pellets into the store from the silo. The main feature of the SOLARvent IQ boiler is the state of the art remote access  touch screen panel. The boiler can be accessed remotely via any Ipad, Iphone or smart phone. The user has full control of the boiler wherever they are enabling them to change any parameters on the boiler and to check that it is working correctly.

This technology gives the owner of the boiler complete peace of mind as the SOLARvent IQ and AJ Tinney engineers can carry out regular service checks to the boiler. Automatic alarms can be set up to email the engineer alerting them of any issues with the boiler. Each component within the boiler can be monitored giving a realtime analysis of any issues that may arise.
